Amazing apartment in the center of things, and yet quiet. Cristina was very welcoming and we felt at home very quickly. The area of the apartment have much more to offer than what we planned for.

Great home, location is fantastic and Monti is a vibrant locality. Cristina is a great host, everything well presented, styled well and as shown on the site when booking. If I could give a six star for the overall stay I would.

MONTI DISTRICT

The charming streets of Monti,  historic and trendy district in the center where the apartment is located, are full of trendy restaurants, fashion boutiques, bars with live music, wine and antique shops. Piazza Madonna dei Monti and its cafés are famous Roman's meeting point: don't miss them!

GETTING AROUND

The Fori Imperiali and the Colosseum are less than 5 minutes away walking, as Via Nazionale (an important shopping area); a 10-minute walk will take you to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Venezia and Termini Station. The Cavour metro station is around the corner, along with many of the main bus lines.

THE COLOSSEUM

“Rome will exist as long as the Colosseum does; when the Colosseum falls so will Rome; when Rome falls so will the world”. Perhaps he got the name from the enormous statue of the Emperor Nero, “the Colossus” 35 meters high, which stood right next to the amphitheatre and has now been completely destroyed.

ROMAN FORUM

A Forum was the main center of a Roman city. Usually located near the physical center of a Roman town, it served as a public area in which commercial, religious, economic, political, legal, and social activities occurred. Fora were common in all Roman cities, but none were as grand as the fora of Rome itself.

THE OLD TOWN

Old Rome is the historic Renaissance centre of Rome. While the oldest section of Rome is at the Forum, and the Modern Center has shifted to via Veneto, Old Rome remains the city's most charming district; it includes the areas around piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the Pantheon and the Ghetto.
